Ellie and mat have been together for 3 and half years now, we met while I was working in the naafi shop on raf Coningsby where Mat was posted. We moved in together in dec 2006, and while at a meal in Lincoln Cathedral, hosted by Lincoln council to honour the battle of Britain memorial flight where Mat was working at the time Mat got down on one knee and proposed, which was a total shock for everyone as Mat always said he didn’t want to get married ever, of course
